Job Summary

We are small, but mighty, growing fast and looking to accelerate that growth by adding a stellar Junior Software Engineer to our team! Successful candidates will demonstrate extreme attention to detail, a good baseline understanding of JavaScript, and the ability to succeed in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment. What We're Expecting

• Possesses working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js

• 1-2 years experience working a development role

• Experience working with third-party APIs

• A good working knowledge of front-end web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as well as frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular. A strong interest and aptitude for honing skills in JavaScript

• Exhibits proficiency in HTML and CSS

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of object and component methodology and technology.

• Understanding of HTTP

• Understanding of RESTful API practices and server communication

• Sets high standards of performance for oneself

• Ability to listen to others and accept input from team members

• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication

• Shows initiative for learning by seeking out answers to daily technical challenges

• Establishes good working relationships with team members, working collaboratively in a distributed team environment 

• Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly

• Strives to help the team succeed, even when it means working outside the job description
