 What is your role?

• Architect, develop, and test new web experiences
• Work closely with a product owner, UX designers, and backend developers
• Advocate front end development best practices
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Participate in design and code reviews

What do you need?

• A strong knowledge of HTML, CSS fundamentals and standards 
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery 
• An understanding of cross-browser / cross-platform compatibility issues
• Ability to identify areas for improvement (whether tools, practices, etc...) and take initiative to work toward a solution.

It is great if you also have the following:

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Ember, AngularJS, Backbone, etc.)
• Unit testing experience
• An understanding of internationalization and localization best practices
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc.)
• Familiarity with marketing e-mail platform templates (e.g., Silverpop) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
