We are in search of a world class Lead iOS Developer/Engineering Architect with knowledge and capabilities in iOS, Augmented Reality, and web application development. In this position, reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be responsible for determining the design and implementation of components of our technology stack.  You will also be responsible for contributing to all code bases and working with the European team members and our product team to deliver our solutions. This position is the key developer, architect, and owner of our mobile apps and the entire technology infrastructure. He/she will own the entire technology architecture and direction. As the company grows, he/she will be responsible for staffing, mentoring, and directing the technical team.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with the product team to define product features and functionality, refine Jira stories and determine effort

• Drive technology decisions regarding tools and infrastructure and make architecture decision for both the iOS apps and the Node.js backend

• Define and create any Jira stories related to technical debut and work with the product team on prioritization

• Help determine cloud platform solutions and architecture

• Contribute to both of our iOS apps

• Direct and support any and all outsourced engineering resources

• Help build and lead both internal and external teams

• Contribute to Dev Ops

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of mobile and software development experience in consumer or enterprise software companies with at least 3 years developing iOS apps using Swift

• A deeply technical individual that loves taking ownership to ensure our solutions are designed and implemented to make our clients excited to use our solutions.

• Understanding of cloud computing environments

• Leadership skills - someone who takes initiative to lead, mentor and direct the activities of others

• Collaborative style - experience teaming with the product team

• Someone that thrives in a fast paced startup and small team environment and is not afraid to push back and question/analyze decisions and actions.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and exceptional ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
