As a Quality Assurance Lead within Professional Services, you will be essential to our customers’ success by ensuring that our software projects meet or exceed company and industry standards. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Overseeing all aspects of software quality assurance including defining our QA strategy, establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Leading and mentoring global QA team members.
  • Continuous improvement – monitoring all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, and root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement and ensure these are implemented.
  • Deploying and maintaining automation frameworks; introducing new methodologies for improved efficiency and reliability.
  • Specifying QA infrastructure and tooling.
  • Preparing or reviewing test plans and estimates for committed work.
  • Supervising the execution of test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation of web- and API- based solutions
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership role
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expertise implementing Automation Frameworks like TDD/BDD, Keyword, POM and Hybrid Frameworks (e.g., Selenium)
  • White box testing experience in Java with JUnit or TestNG
  • Experience in web service and API testing using tools like Sandbox, Postman, SoapUI, etc.
  • Experience with Modern React, Node.js, and testing frameworks such as Nightwatch, Jest, Mocha, Lab, Ava, Chai, Typescript, Enzyme, or Puppeteer
  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber
  • Experience with RESTful service architecture
  • Familiarity with development build environments (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools
  • Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git
  • Experience in requirements gathering, designing test plans, defect management, project tracking, reporting, and End of Test report creation
  • Experience with test runners reporting and linking into Continuous Integration (CI) servers such as Jenkins, Travis and CircleCI
  • Experience in any of coding languages like Java, Python, C#, etc.
  • Experience with Integrated Development Environments (e.g., Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, etc.)
  • Experience in test data management
  • Exposure to omni channel (multi-browser & interoperability) testing
  • Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field is a plus
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is a plus

 

This role is budgeted in the $110 - $120K OTE range. Salary will ultimately be based on a candidate’s experience and external market factors.
