Dealerware is looking for a full-time Mobile Test Automation Engineer to jump in and make big
contributions to our efforts to always deliver the highest quality product possible. From the beginning
of a project – discussing high-level requirements – to the launch of a product or feature, QA is integral
to the entire process. They are the glue that makes sure that expectations are met, and quality is
maintained; we are looking for someone who has implemented efficient and effective automated test
plans to do just that.
Ideal candidates will have diverse experience with all phases of software testing on a variety of
platforms: mobile devices, front-end and back-end services, and experience with industry standard
test automation tools and frameworks. Applicants should have at least 5 years of professional
software QA experience with 3 or more years of Mobile automation experience. BS in computer
science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience is also required.
As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will:
- Working with Product Management to fully understand requirements and user
- experience/interface changes, which will inform the testing you do
- Working with Developers to understand technical implementation of work items, which will
- inform the testing you do
- Building, maintaining, and improving the test automation framework and scripts for testing iOS
- and Android applications
- Creating and maintaining native mobile CI/CD pipeline
- Identifying mobile device or app-related issues and updating automated test scripts
- accordingly.
- Tracking, reporting and verifying defects to ensure that issues are resolved promptly
- Working with Engineering Management to improve the testing process
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years writing QA automation tests for mobile apps with tools such as, Appium, Perfecto
- Mobile, etc.
- High level of experience with writing code for automated web testing tools, services, and
- frameworks
- Experience with writing code to packages tests into regression test suites
- Experience with/Understanding of CI/CD Pipeline - DevOps, Agile, Digital and Data Testing,
- Test data management, Test Environment Management, etc.
- Experience with testing automation tools, building automation frameworks, and setting up test
- harnesses
- Experience using web tools to debug websites, and use of Web and App automation scripting
- tools
- Experience testing APIs and writing integration tests
- Experience using JIRA or similar bug tracking software
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall development cycles
- Deep understanding of software testing cycles
- Experience analyzing business processes and requirements
- Experience in software deployment practices and integration
- Experience testing backend microservice integrations
- Knowledge of Internet standards, browser/system compatibility and languages (React, HTML,
- CSS, HTML5 JavaScript, PHP, and XML)
