The Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Operations Specialist is an exciting opportunity to participate in a true DevOps environment leveraging emerging technologies. The analyst will work closely with engineering and development teams to implement and support the suite of Pivotal Cloud Foundry services in public cloud.

Pivotal is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) technology supporting:

  • Fast application development and deployment
  • Highly scalable and available architecture
  • DevOps-friendly workflows
  • Reduced chance of human error
  • Multi-tenant compute efficiencies

What You’ll Do:

This position will require the individual to stay abreast of the continual evolution of technology and understand how Pivotal Cloud services (Elastic Runtime, RabbitMQ, Redis, etc.) integrate into the automotive environment to fit customer needs. The analyst will collaborate closely with customers, engineering SMEs, and product vendors to understand and optimize the cloud services.


What You’ll Need:

  • Highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and an understanding of emerging technologies (including Cloud Native Platforms)
  • Perform at an extremely high level of technical competence and maturity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all spectrum of users and technicians
  • Ability to assess and resolve business user needs

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • B. S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
  • 5+ years of experience operational user support
  • 5+ years of Linux experience
  • 2+ years of AWS experience
  • Experience with ITIL processes including incident and request management
  • Functional knowledge of multiple cloud based technologies
  • Understanding of Networking and Network Architecture
  • Understanding of Containerization
