Position Overview: From software hacking to hardware hacking, we help secure everything from cryptocurrency exchanges and space telescopes to autonomous vehicles and the electric grid. Today, Praetorian is making significant investments in terms of financial and engineering resources to develop a radically new customer experience we call “Security-as-a-Service” to provide customers with a unified, efficient, and data-driven security platform. We are looking to add the right individual to our growing team supporting the next wave of cybersecurity products and solutions focusing on helping our machine learning team understand the details of how static analysis works to find vulnerabilities in source code.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in static analysis, pointer analysis, and taint analysis
  • Fluent in data and control flow analysis
  • Fluent with system and program dependency graphs
  • Fluent in programming languages, abstract representations, and compiler theory
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience and interest in identifying security vulnerabilities in source code
  • Experience and interest in machine learning
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages and typing disciplines
  • Experience with modern technology stacks and development practices
  • Understanding of statistics and data analysis
  • Masters or PhD in computer science or computer engineering

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Comp banding: 180K-220K
  • Employee stock option plan
  • Annual budget for training, certifications, and conferences
  • 16 weeks of fully paid maternity and paternity leave
