Principal Engineer (AWS)

ClearDATA is seeking Principal Engineer (AWS) to join our creative and passionate software engineering team to help us in making healthcare better every single day. Please Note : This position can be located in our Austin, TX Office or our San Francisco, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate customer requirements into products for healthcare and life sciences
• Deliver high-quality products and excellent customer experience
• Design solutions for massive scale, resiliency, maintainability, and compliance
• Lead regular company-wide demos to highlight recent achievements
• Collaborate and guide architectural direction of the team
• Provide training and mentorship to other engineers
• Serve as an exemplary programmer, writing elegant, well-tested software.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 7 years in a DevOps or software engineering role
• Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expert level skill implementing full lifecycle development (design, test, implement, document, deploy)
• Quality-driven approach to software; love for testing
• Expert at release management using modern collaboration tools
• Advanced experience with Go or Python
• Expert at working in teams leveraging modern CI and CD concepts & tools
• A passion for lifelong learning
• Advanced professional experience with infrastructure as code and modern configuration management tools (SaltStack, Ansible, Terraform)
