Job Description

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who is a self-starter, can learn quickly, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The QA Analyst will support Optimizely’s On-Demand Services team, who help clients design, develop, and launch AB Tests. The QA Analyst will play a key role in the execution cycle as they’ll ultimately QA each test that we configure. The QA Analyst will have an opportunity to see how some of the world’s most innovative companies run tests on their visitors to generate more ROI from their digital properties. The On-Demand team is a fun, fast paced, energetic team based in Austin that is growing at a rapid pace.
What You'll Do

• Perform QA of variations that have been designed and developed by the On-Demand team. A basic example of an AB test is if a client wants to test a different set of copy on a checkout call-to-action button. The QA analyst would make the sure change is applied properly across browsers/devices.

• Provide detailed QA reports documenting any bugs and corresponding reproduction steps

• Work closely with the Optimization Managers to understand the scope and functionality of each test that is being QAd.

• Compare variations to designs to make sure the variations are in accordance with the designs.

• Ensure all functionality is still in-tact and working as expected in the variations that we develop

Qualifications

• A basic understanding of web-languages and how webpages work (ie - HTML, CSS, jQuery, javascript)

• A strong desire to try and break things and find bugs

• Excellent written and communication skills.

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
