Summary
Are you a QA Automation Engineer who has experience working with Unity in C# environments? Do you like to be a part of a new team working on our new GDK is built on Unity and .NET? Aristocrat is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Unity to automate the testing of a new game development kit (GDK). The new GDK is built on Unity and .NET. The GDK includes software components, services, command line tools and Unity plugins. The quality of the new GDK will be maintained by automating a large portion of its testing and using manual testing where necessary. The testing of the user interface components of the GDK will cover C# API and Unity plugins. Automated tests will be integrated into continuous integration with support from DevOps engineers.
What You'll Do

  • Review product requirements from business analyst for testability
  • Review software design documents and code from software engineers for testability
  • Propose product changes and or tests hooks to enable automate testing
  • Select Unity integrated test tools to support desktop and mobile testing in the editor and player
  • Write scripts and or C# code to test components, APIs and plugins
  • Generate reports of test coverage and reliability as part of test runs
  • Integrate automated test tools into continuous integration with support from DevOps engineer
  • Report issues uncovered during test automation development and automate reporting of regressions on existing tests
  • Participate in project planning and estimation
  • All other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in working with teams of 5 or more
  • 3 years of experience with manual or automated testing of .NET and or web components
  • 5 years of experience with C# and Unity as a QA engineer or software developer
