What You’ll Do
Work on a daily basis with the software products to certify their quality and make sure our customers are getting a scalable, stable, and reliable product by conducting automated tests before product launches.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Champion the automation process and methodologies.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate automation activities.
- Create and execute reusable, extendable and sustainable automation tests.
- Identify and drive change to ensure automation effectiveness.
- Provide accurate, clear and concise testing results and status updates.
- Create, ensure adherence and maintain appropriate standards and quality procedures across the QA organization.
- Identify and report bugs.
- Consistently identify solutions to issues.
- Mentor team members on automation.
- Identify, communicate and provide solutions to issues that impact project schedules.
- Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation.
- Escalate issues to Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear, concise and timely manner.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain and execute manual functional tests.
- Design and maintain test plans.
- Participates in requirement and design review meetings to stay informed of potential impact to testing.
Skills & Requirements
What You’ll Need
- 3 or more years of experience with formal test methods and quality assurance.
- 2 or more years of automation experience in a professional software development environment.
- Team player and great attitude.
- Organized, proactive, and results driven.
- Ability to mentor junior automation engineers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Automation Framework principles.
- Knowledge of test automation methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with API testing tools is a plus.
