Saatva is looking for a QA Engineer to join our expanding QA Team. You will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and performant automated test solutions to ensure the quality of our high traffic ecommerce web applications and logistics software. You will be a key contributor in implementing our test platform architecture in a continuous delivery environment.
What you will do everyday:
- Design and implement UI and API automated tests
- Work alongside software engineers and product managers to ensure that critical systems have adequate test coverage
- Optimize tests to work in both production and QA environments
- Guide the testing platform and technology choices for maximum productivity
- Document and catalog automated tests and the testing platform
- Participate in scrum estimations, daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives
- Create test runs and triage bug reports with our third party exploratory testing platform Test.io
- Execute and maintain manual testing suite for payment methods
- Launch performance tests while collecting and analyzing site metric data
What you need to bring to the table:
- Some experience developing automated tests
- Development skill with JavaScript or Python
- Proficiency in designing tests for RESTful web services
- Knowledge of test case management and corresponding tools
- Detail Oriented, motivated to learn about QA, and passion for technology
Key Technology we use:
- Cypress for UI testing
- Javascript and Python languages
- Jest and Postman for manual and automated API testing
- Locust for load and performance testing
- JIRA and Slack for daily communication and project management
- TestRail for test case management and reporting
Bonus to have
- Experience with Jenkins, AWS, Selenium
- Technical degree or completed Bootcamp
- Experience working in eCommerce platforms
