Our Modernize Home Services Vertical is looking for a Mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software development team. In this role, you will work with a team and as an individual to test and evaluate software and reports created by the engineering team and other departments (BI) to help ensure company success.  You will be a highly valued team member, experiencing incredible job satisfaction, personal growth, and fast advancement.

QA Engineers at QuinStreet are an integral component of product success.  The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of digital solutions and software testing techniques to ensure software release quality across all experiences and devices.

Experience 

• 3+ years software testing experience
• Experience in agile methodologies (Attlasian suite)
• Solid skills with database management systems for data querying purposes (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Good knowledge in Postman (or any other API test tool)
• Basic knowledge in web analytics software (Heap, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem tracking skills
• A sharp eye for details
• Strong understanding of user/stakeholder experience
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues
• Compare large data sets within our database and reporting systems
• Document software failures and anomalies providing thorough detail to facilitate reproduction by developers, or work to identify root cause Develop a deep understanding of our databases and how they interrelate to verify reporting metrics
