You are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality. You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of the operating system software, as well as knowledge of object-oriented design principles.

You should command the skill to communicate clearly and effectively. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team’s speed, quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work as an engineer and full stack tester (Data-Services-UI) and solve problems through automation
• Work with the team to add and refine acceptance criteria and the definition of done for user stories
• Find edge cases and create negative and exploratory testing
• Design and perform end-to-end tests and provide status reports
• Prepare data and scripts necessary for automated, and manual testing
• Find defects and work directly with the team to create fixes and validate new tests
• Create and run automated tests to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Mentor and help develop skillsets of other members of the team

Basic Qualifications

• BE in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience of minimum 5 years
• 5+ years of strong, demonstrable experience working as an engineer
• 5+ years of experience developing high quality test strategies and test automation
• 3+ years of experience in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured libraries
• 3+ years of experience with the .NET Framework or Java
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g. MS-SQL, Oracle)
• 2+ years of experience and exposure to Selenium framework
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
• Experience working with test-driven development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin languages like Cucumber, Cucumber-jvm, Cucumber-js,
• Comfort with the full Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence) and Postman
• Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript and other scripting languages
• Ability to affectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly

• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
• The ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry
