About the Role
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with significant security domain expertise in multiple layers of technical solutions. You should be able to articulate how these solutions were designed, deployed, and finally why they are failing. You will be part of a team responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next generation endpoint technology. You should be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast paced environment on multiple engagements.
This role will be based remotely in the supporting region.
Skills and Experience
- Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensic, network administration and management and endpoint security including anti-virus solutions
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, Security Information Event Management solutions, packet analysis tools and operating system analysis
- This role requires the ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies.
- Malware analysis experience and Cybersecurity expertise a plus
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Perl, and/or bash a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Development; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and customers
- This role requires the ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives
- Extensive contacts in the information security field and strong references
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
- 5 years+ or equivalent experience in consulting or sales engineering – particularly in the areas of security incident response or security architecture design.
- Willingness to travel as required.
