Sales Engineer

We are excited to welcome a Sales Engineer to our team in Austin! In this position, you will work closely with the sales team and management in both demonstrating the R365 platform and configuring products for other users. You will have an important role in the transmission of future development from the Enablement Manager to the sales team. Your expert product status will be used in answering technical "how to" questions for prospective customers as well as assisting the sales team and management with 'as needed' questions that they will submit directly to you.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintain an expert status on all Restaurant365 products and systems
- Understand clients' requirements, identify gaps (if any) between clients' requirements, and define solutions to bridge the gap
- Create and deliver powerful presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Set up and maintain demo databases for existing and future features
- Act as a technical resource for the sales reps with specific questions regarding R365 product and partnering platforms
- Train sales reps on product knowledge
- RFP assistance for sales reps and sales management
What you need for this position:
- 5+ years proven work experience in customer service or sales
- Understanding of intermediate accounting principles
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SaaS environment experience is a plus (preferred)
- Restaurant operations experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel if needed
