You will report to the VP of Business Applications & IT and will be instrumental in ensuring our Salesforce instance is supporting the needs of the business and that we are making the most of our investment.  You love to solve problems and look for creative solutions to address requirements and embrace working in a collaborative environment. We expect the individual we hire will be an active participant in helping our team design supportable and highly efficient processes; this is not a role where we will hand you requirements and you simply implement them.
Key Responsibilities as Salesforce Administrator:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for technical and solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of HotSchedules’ complex Salesforce environment
  • Ability to analyze and understand existing complex custom Salesforce setup, propose options for streamlining existing code (if necessary) and write new code to make any changes
  • Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows and triggers.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and resolve gaps in business processes, policies, and other factors to enable more efficient use of Salesforce
  • Work with the integration administrator and NetSuite Developer to align data syncing between systems
  • Database deduplication and cleanup
  • Participate on cross-functional projects that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations
  • Keeping abreast of new Salesforce functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements and potential benefits to HotSchedules

Skills and Experience:

Required

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Proficient knowledge of development with the Salesforce Lightning platform
  • Development experience with Force.com and Apex
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick CPQ)
  • Develop solutions on Salesforce.com API framework and 3rd party APIs
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions
  • Enjoys “getting their hands dirty” by digging into complex operations
  • Takes high degree of ownership over their work
  • Strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments
  • Must be able to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Preferred

  • Experience with Marketo
  • Experience with Docusign, or other e-Signature software
  • Prior experience working with B2B software
  • Experience with Apex and Visualforce
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein Analytics
