Salesforce Administrator
Description
The Salesforce Administrator reports to the Manager of Salesforce Application Development, as an essential member of the IT Applications team. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be interacting with various parts of the business to understand current and future processes needed within Salesforce. You will need to combine knowledge of our current Salesforce org, along with your experience implementing Salesforce best practices, to improve the health of our environment - both now and as SailPoint continues to grow. In addition to being responsible for developing high performing solutions on the Salesforce platform, the Salesforce Administrator will provide insights in advanced business analysis, configure integrated third-party apps as required, ensure proper user security, and assist with change and release management.
Job Responsibilities

  • Hands on experience building and maintaining Process Builders and Flows
  • Maintain user security best practices for profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing groups etc.
  • Prioritize tickets driven by the business and ensure all are properly executed during our change release windows
  • Evaluate, test and integrate third-party apps into our sandbox and production environments
  • Assist with the review and testing of Salesforce releases between our Sandbox environments and Production environment
  • Assist with technical debt cleanup activities to maintain the overall health and operation of Salesforce
  • Work with members of the IT team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform
  • Drive conversations with the business and ensure they are following best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as security, performance, development process, and application governance


Required Skills

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Admin (ADM201) or Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM211)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com functionality, best practices, and limitations
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team
