Job Description

As a Salesforce QA Engineer at Procore, you'll join the IT/Business Systems team responsible for the architecture, development, administration, and maintenance of Salesforce.com and associated integrations. Salesforce is critical to the success of our Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams, and you'll play a key role in managing the quality of one of our most valuable IT assets.

This position will report to our Manager, Quality Engineering and will be based in our downtown Austin, TX office, our headquarters in Santa Barbara/Carpinteria, CA or remote. We're looking for candidates to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Evaluate, test, and approve Salesforce.com configurations and customizations during each sprint to ensure the exceptional quality of Procore's Salesforce.com solutions

  • Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects – attend scrum review meetings and develop targeted test plans and cases

  • Keep up-to-date on quality engineering and Salesforce industry best practices and trends to drive ongoing improvements to Procore's Salesforce.com platform

  • Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results

  • Test run-the-business changes and transformational strategic enhancements against acceptance criteria

  • Document, track, and escalate issues while building effective partnerships through collaboration

  • Take responsibility for testing of individual components and end-to-end testing flows

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, business analysis, development or Quality Engineering with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices

  • Experience with manual testing and developing/maintaining test automation using Provar, Selenium, or other test automation tools 

  • Familiar with best practices for Salesforce unit testing, regression testing and integration testing

  • Looking for someone with outstanding communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management and task execution skills 

  • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce SOQL, Developer Workbench, Jira, Copado, agile software development, and integrations between Salesforce and other business systems is a plus

Location

Procore Austin is the second largest of our offices, occupying six floors in the Chase Tower at the center of downtown Austin.
