Job Description
Security Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring enterprise security for a world-class web application and organization
- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls
- Recommending, developing, deploying, maintaining and supporting security controls that meet defense in depth goals
- Collaborating with a team of other security professionals
- Working with outside teams and handle incoming requests, responding to issues, troubleshooting reported problems and identify solutions
- Creating and maintaining engineering documentation to meet compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working and supporting product development teams as it relates to information security compliance
- Experience with conducting security related testing, and providing remediation support and advice to Engineering teams
- Experience with reviewing software designs for security flaws
- Bachelor's degree in an information technology discipline. Professional information security certification (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional, (CISSP), SANS/GIAC, CISM, preferred
Jive specific nice to haves:
- Experience with running security scans at Jive
- Experience with audits and certifications at Jive
- Familiarity with working with sales and customers to be able to address any security concerns at Jive
