As a Software Engineer at Medallia, you will be joining the Sense360 team. We are transforming how companies make strategic decisions. We work with some of the top restaurants, retailers, and CPG companies in the world providing them access to our revolutionary data products. You will be participating in the development of client facing products for Market Research applications using our core datasets such as Foot Traffic, Transaction and Survey data. Our front-ends are written in Node.js/React as well as Ruby on Rails. Backend services are written in Scala using the Play framework, or Ruby on Rails. Our data pipeline runs on Python, using AWS services like RDS, ECS, and EMR. Database backends are Postgres and Redshift.

Responsibilities:

  • TWork with product to build world class products providing some of the largest companies with actionable insights
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions for dealing with large data prepared by the data science team, and making it available to clients with high performance
  • Includes design and implementation of stateless APIs to power front-end applications

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Scala or Java
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer science or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in development with Big Data technologies
