Senior Front End Software Engineer
We’re looking for an innovative front end web developer with experiencing building enterprise UI platforms to join the SKY UX team.
SKY UX is an open-source,, Angular-based framework used by Blackbaud's development teams, Blackbaud clients, and partners to build a cohesive, browser-based application experience. The SKY UX team also builds and maintains CI/CD single-page application pipelines with shared navigation and notifications across products. As part of the SKY UX team, you will help create new shared components, support and extend the UI framework and support hundreds of engineers using these libraries in Blackbaud products.

What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with project team members (Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, etc.) on development and implementations of our Angular component libraries and UI frameworks
Extend, support, and maintain our open source user experience framework, SKY UX, with accessibility and localization support
Mentor other engineers across the company with web development best practices
Evaluate the performance and feasibility of new components and optimize new and existing components to assure maximum usability, performance, and scalability
What we’ll want you to have:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field experience
4+ years of web development experience using modern web development frameworks
2+ years of experience using Angular to build single-page applications preferred
2+ years of experience working as a full stack developer preferred
Experience with Git version control and GitHub
Experience building tools for developers preferred but the willingness to collaborate and work with other developers is required
