Your Mission

We are an advanced company, working with agile methods and using the latest Internet technologies to develop a unique cloud-based platform and mobile commerce apps.
To strengthen our 50-strong engineering team, we are looking for an experienced frontend developer. As part of our cross-functional teams, you'll be working with ES6, React.js, and Atomic Design, among others.

What you'll do on a daily basis

• Development of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) using current web technologies such as ES6, React.js, Redux, and Glamor
• Optimizing the user experience of our end users and their different browsers and platforms (iOS and Android) on our Shopgate Connect Platform
• Responsibility for quality assurance with automation testing (end-to-end, integration and unit testing)
• Improving the loading speed of our mobile-optimized frontends
• Participation in regular code reviews
• Evaluation of new technologies as well as continuous development of own abilities regarding new technologies and frameworks
• Close cooperation with the team members of a small agile team

The right fit

• Minimum 5 years experience in building complex web and mobile applications as well as at least 3 years experience with a modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, React Native, Vue.js, AngularJS)
• Great enthusiasm for software development and the latest technologies
• Familiarity with unit tests (Jest, Enzyme, Mocha)
• Experience with build tools like Webpack
• Understanding of Clean Coding and Code Principles (e.g., SOLID, KISS, DRY)
• Bonus: Knowledge in backend development (e.g., Node.js and REST APIs)
