SparkCognition is seeking a full-stack web developer for the financial services team. The developer will be part of an integrated Agile team that includes a web and server engineers, QA, design, and a product owner. At SparkCognition, you will work with the latest technologies to deliver value in financial trading and portfolio optimization.

Key Qualifications

Experience developing complex web applications with Javascript web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Backbone, Ember, etc.)
Translation of UX/UI designs into appealing visual elements with HTML and CSS
Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL). Ability to optimize SQL and make schema changes.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.)
Experience with Python desired, including frameworks like Django or Flask
Attention to quality, and implementation of unit tests
Delivery in Agile development teams
Ability to drive quality, security, and performance into the product and team practices
BS in Computer Science or related field
