Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

As the Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, you will bring your experience as an engineering leader with excellent cross-functional and communications skills. Lead and support a team of senior engineers with backgrounds in operations, software development, systems performance, and resilience engineering.
What You Will Contribute
- Lead cross-organizational efforts to design, build, migrate, and sustain solutions.
- Improve reliability and drive down the burden of toil with tooling and automation.
- Enable continuous delivery of software updates
- Inspire, nurture, and challenge a team of high-performing engineers
- Collaborate with other teams and managers to foster advancement of SRE principles.
- Facilitate conversations at all levels to respectfully challenge approaches, priorities and align stakeholders on outcomes, deliverables, and resources
- Lobby for and champion reliability efforts
- Mature skills assessments, establish training plans, and develop core competencies with other functions to cultivate a talent pipeline.
What We Are Seeking
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Typically requires 2-5 years managing and developing employees.
- Leading reliability efforts in a technical organization.
- Proven-track record managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with active incident management.
- Knowledge of various compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and PCI.
- Strong understanding of DevOps build / release tools and deployment strategies.
- Experience with modern SRE principles and large-scale distributed systems management.
