We're looking for a talented individual that can provide design and drive implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services and infrastructure.
The Senior Principal IAM Engineer position is based in Austin, TX. Domestic relocation assistance is available and strongly preferred. We are open to consider/discuss remote work from home situations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee IAM development and implementation efforts on major projects and provide forward-looking guidance to team members and allied stakeholders company-wide
• Lead IAM architecture and program delivery management including people leadership
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to security, network development, user access, performance, and enhancement
• Be a thought leader and subject matter expert on all aspects of identity access and related security, technical, and process considerations
• Work with key stakeholders to develop, document, and implement identity access and related security solutions supporting Whole Foods Market business processes and operations
• Engage with business partners to understand business requirements and ensure optimization of network focused access and security solutions
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new and innovative technologies, solutions, and strategies
• Drive process and operations continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and 8-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Graduate degree or CISSP preferred
• Expert understanding of identity management tools, technologies, and processes
• Expert understanding of available IAM products and services
• Expert understanding of infrastructure systems architecture and identify and access management
• Leading-edge knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques
• Advanced experience working with IAM technologies in an implementor or designer role
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication skills and levels of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
• Communicates effectively with all types of internal and external audiences including senior leadership
• Conveys and consults on complex matters with broad organizational significance
• Consults on project planning and the management of high-risk, high-impact projects
• Expert ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines
• Analyzes and forecasts business and market trends
• Holds others accountable for exhibiting Whole Foods Market principles and core values
• Leads projects with broad visibility to achieve milestones and objectives
