POSITION SUMMARY

MapMyRun, part of Under Armour Connected Fitness, is looking for an experienced Android mobile developer who wants to build and scale the world’s number one health and fitness app. We’re an agile and fast-paced team with exciting opportunities always on the horizon. This position plays a critical role in the direction and success of MapMyRun and its mobile platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly influence the technical direction of the MapMyRun Android application
• Continuously ensure the health of the platform exceeds our customer’s expectations
• Empower & coach others on and outside the team to perform at their best
• Respond to and/or coordinate with teammates proactively on incidents as they arise
• Be working on big ticket items with high value and visibility
• Working closely with neighboring mobile teams across Under Armour

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES)

• 3+ years of Android development experience
• Strong problem solving skills and experience coaching and mentoring junior developers
• Experience in building, testing, releasing, and maintaining Android applications in Java and Kotlin
• Advocate of clean code and TDD
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI infrastructure with the goal of continuously delivering value to our customers as often and safely as possible
• Familiarity with Agile practices
