About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend), you will be responsible for developing and optimizing new and existing web applications that deliver tremendous value to our clients. We are looking for candidates passionate and experienced working with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create rich client-side code. Our team is primarily using Django server-side, interacting with PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch, all running on AWS. On the frontend, we use ES6 JavaScript with tools like Chart.js and OpenLayers. We’re also in the process of migrating to React.

• • You're a first-rate, experienced programmer who's worked with frontend frameworks to build rich client-side applications using frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue. 
  • You have multiple years of experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create fast, easy-to-use web-based applications and prototypes.
  • You seek out ways to optimize the performance of web applications to maximize speed and scale.
  • You keep on top of the latest open-source libraries and frameworks
  • You understand important design patterns and tradeoffs. 
  • You care about code quality and test automation.
  • You want to automate routine tasks and understand when, where, and how to use CI/CD pipeline tools.
