Job Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Developer on GetDone, you will be responsible for contributing to the existing codebase that supports the GetDone Services by working closely with Product, Design, Operations and Growth, to design, build and support features.  Working with GetDone’s Cloud based solution to support both Web and Mobile applications, Senior Software Developers will continue to build out forward-looking features featuring machine learning algorithms and mobile-first applications.

What you’ll do:

• Design, Develop and Deploy Web Application features for GetDone Customers, Professionals and Operators
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to product highly usable features  
• Understand and solve complex business problems by working with Operations and Growth teams
• Interact with Machine Learning Experts to leverage algorithms and insights and incorporate them into existing applications
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as planning, grooming and refinement discussions
• Look to bring in new technologies and methodologies to improve the overall architecture
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering to improve development process such as Peer Reviews, Code Quality, Deployment process, security practices, etc
• Periodically present and demo new technologies and features to the team
• Work closely with off-shore development teams to collaborate on feature development and problem solve issues

What you offer:

• 3-7 years of overall experience with software development
• Strong Experience with Java, Python, C++ or similar technologies
• Experience with Javascript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular or similar technologies 
• Experience with cloud-based applications in AWS 
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres, MySql, or Oracle
• Familiarity using AWS services like Redshift, AWS Glue
• Familiarity with Mobile Development
• Display a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the SDLC
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with all members of the team
