WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Building web applications with a focus on both server and client side
  • Redesign UI's, implement new UI's with backend Java development if needed
  • Design and build scalable framework for web applications
  • Explore and design dynamic and compelling consumer experiences
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Perform regular code reviews

 

WHAT YOU HAVE

 

  • A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
  • Strong Java skills and OOD/OOP experience, knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with various Java technologies and frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with and good understanding of “traditional” enterprise architectures and enterprise integration patterns
  • Good practical knowledge of RDBMS solutions (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
  • Experience with and good understanding of open service oriented architectures (REST, HTTP)
  • Experience designing high performance, high availability systems
  • University degree in technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and capability of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • Experience with Hadoop related technologies
  • Ability to work with JavaScript/CSS/HTML
