We’re looking for an engineer with broad experience in customer facing web applications to be the cornerstone of our drive for modern, reliable, reusable user experiences & development practices.  You’ll be helping to establish org-wide standards around code quality, deployment tooling, reliability, and performance, aligning with engineers across the globe on the best way to ensure that both our users and engineers have the best experience.  Your deep understanding of web technologies at cloud scale will be foundational to the next generation of Unity’s customer facing presence. 

Responsibilities

• Architect and build reliable, resilient, high scale tools and services for engineers, creators, and customers
• Establish best practices around CI/CD, testing, quality, and performance
• Drive the vision and tooling for cross-continent collaboration that emphasizes knowledge sharing, communication, and reusability 
• Help to grow the next generation of technical leaders in Live & Digital

Requirements 

• 10+ years experience in high scale web environments
• Strong familiarity with cloud computing concepts and the major providers
• A hard bias towards action and iterative development
• Extreme flexibility in managing changing workloads and priorities with shifts in business need
