Iodine Software is seeking another Software Engineer to join the team!
What you’ll do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join a newly formed product development team where you'll have an opportunity to help lead the development. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack. We embrace the “you run what you write” principle so you’ll also have a chance to operate our production infrastructure.
- Design and implement highly performing and highly scalable applications
- Analyze user requirements and propose potential solutions
- Develop level-of-effort estimates for enhancements and new features
- Work with other team members to develop a complete and integrated solution
- Deliver quality software and documentation on time
- Follow development standards to ensure consistency across the larger development team
- Conduct in-depth technical and performance analyses in support of production issue troubleshooting
- Monitor and maintain production systems
What we’d love to see:
Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications, and experience):
- BS in Computer Science or related area
- 7+ years of professional experience building modern web applications and distributed systems
- Expert proficiency with SQL and comfortable working with relational, NoSql and Data Warehouse systems
- Front-end experience with Vue.js, Angular, React or similar JavaScript framework
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with either Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible
- Hands on experience in building applications using Kafka
- Proven track record of successful delivery of progressively complex technical projects
- Seasoned practitioner of engineering best practices such as CI/CD, Automated Testing, Infrastructure as Code
- Coaching and mentoring junior engineers in the team

- Exposure to ML modeling and healthcare domain
