The Position

We are looking for a senior software engineer to join our platform team at Digital Pharmacist. As a member of the platform team you will help us improve and grow our technical solutions for independent pharmacies.  You will lead development of new features and products, improve and take ownership of existing ones, and provide mentorship and technical direction to other members of the engineering team. This position will work in our Austin office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
  • A desire to improve and grow as a software engineer

Desired Skills

  • SOA/microservices patterns
  • Consuming and building RESTful APIs
  • Scaling and tuning web applications and APIs
  • Building, deploying, and running applications on cloud infrastructure
  • Strong Relational DB, NoSQL, and data warehousing knowledge

Nice to Have

  • Background working in Python
  • Flask or other minimal web frameworks
  • Angular, React, Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
  • Splunk, ELK stack, or other logging tools
  • Prometheus, Graphite/StatsD, or other monitoring tools
