We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join our team of developers building our next generation Scheduling, Practice Management, and Referral Management solutions. Your job will be to create easy to use, powerful, cloud-based tools which allow medical professionals to focus on what they do best – treat patients. But, enough about us; let’s talk about you. 

You participate fully in the SDLC process and apply agile methods to develop core web applications and contribute to object-oriented design for the Scheduling software product. You monitor the progress of performance and apply new concepts and/or principals to address any problems as needed.  

The Team: Our consumer-focused Scheduling application team aims to bring a marketplace experience to healthcare, allowing patients to feel empowered in their healthcare decisions. 
Job Responsibilities 

  • Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes 

  • Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results. 

  • Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence with RPR policies on Security, performance, longevity and Integration testing. 

  • Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practices. 


Typical Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of experience in back end development using .Net framework 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and experience in an Agile environment 

  • Experience creating test frameworks 

  • Strong Object-Oriented design and development experience as well as a strong foundation in REST API development 

  • Hands on experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure 

  • Ability to write code that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and readable
