About the Role
FloorFound is looking for a Senior UI Engineer to help us build and extend our premier digital platform for circular commerce. You will join our small, fast-moving team, take ownership of significant product features, and have a direct impact on making our customers successful.
Responsibilities

• Be a thought-leader in the primary technologies that make up our UI stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, styled-components, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to iterate on user-centered designs.
• Work closely with a small team of developers through the product development process to plan, build, and launch new product components.
• Take ownership of quality and deliver full-tested software components.
• Help define and measure success to feed future data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/front end experience.
• Familiarity with modern Javascript and current web methodologies.
• Experience working with functional React, including functional components, hooks, Context API, etc.
• Some understanding of fundamental computer science concepts such as the practical application of data structures and algorithmic complexity.
• Energetic and has a passion for web development and emerging technologies.
• Entrepreneurial and team player attitude.

Preferences

• Background working in retail, supply chain, logistics, and/or e-commerce.
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Python, Scala, or Java.
• Startup experience.
• Based in Austin.
