What Your Days Will be Like:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Engineering team as a Senior Vice President, Software Engineering. The candidate would join an innovative, agile department responsible for building a platform to support a new line of business. The candidate will be responsible for analysis, design, delivery, and improvements of new and existing product features and systems.

• Responsible for the technical project delivery and support of the Care.com systems/platform.
• Work with GM’s, Product, and Project Management to drive and develop a strategic roadmap.
• You will be managing technical executives of multiple teams.
• You will be responsible for maintaining a high performing, motivational, dynamic, and creative culture.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 15+ years of experience in understanding of all aspects of software engineering, including coding, maintenance, architecture and design.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on realistic deadlines.
• Drive operational excellence in team dynamics and process.
• Help define success of a consumer facing solution. 
• Ability to thrive as part of a multi-site development team
• BS or MS in Computer Science or similar engineering disciplines
