What you should have

• Curiosity about how things work and love to share that knowledge with others
• Ability to manage tooling, automation and/or services in one or multiple scripting languages (e.g. Go, Python)
• Experience deploying and managing services in a Cloud environment
• Ability to troubleshoot production and escalation issues

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in NOC engineering, working in a team environment
• Experience deploying, managing and debugging server software on Linux
• Experience working and using services by AWS, GCP and other cloud providers
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting issues with Mongo and Elasticsearch Clusters
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools like Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash
• This person will need to sit in Austin, Texas or surrounding cities.

Bonus Points

• Experience managing and releasing software using Docker containers
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with deployment automation/configuration management (Chef, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or others)
