We're looking for a Sitecore Technical with a depth and breadth of experience fit to lead one of our top clients. You will direct the efforts of the other developers on the project, while working closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery. Additionally, you’ll work directly with the client to provide technical strategy and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight on project, building relationships with client team by ensuring that our team is delivering against objectives
  • Development of technical architecture from code to hosting solution.
  • Monitor, assess and mitigate technical risks to project; identify issues and opportunities early on and work with the project managers help the team mitigate
  • Hands-on development on project
  • Oversight of developers on project - Evaluation of adherence to coding standards, ENG best practices, and proactivity. Will involve periodic code reviews and periodic one-on-ones to ensure developer progress.
  • Provide feedback, coaching and mentorship to team members in order to promote effective performance
  • Oversee code review process - ensuring that project is code reviewed according to the same standards.

Skills & Requirements

  1. Required - Minimum of 5 years working with Sitecore CMS for large-scale projects
  2. Required - Minimum of 8 years working with ASP.NET, C#, and MVC
  3. Required - Strong experience working with data, including APIs, databases, and other data sources
  4. Required - Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role as a Sitecore Developer - either as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead
  5. Solid understanding of front-end skills 
  6. Required - Experience acting as a technical lead for a project - providing guidance to other developers and working with the Project Manager to cover technical questions and issues as they arise internally or with the client.
  7. Required - Solid understanding of front-end skills such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  8. Required - Knowledge of Javascript frameworks such as React or Angular
  9. Desired - Strong understanding of responsive frameworks such as Flexbox
  10. Desired - Experience with CI/CD and deploying to cloud environments, Microsoft Azure preferred
