The Support Technologies Platforms team is seeking an experienced and creative Software Development Automation Manager to design and deliver world class automation solutions for AppleCare. Key Qualifications

• 6+ years experience developing and/or testing large scale enterprise systems with complex distributed integrations
• 3+ years of experience managing software / automation engineers
• Excellent leadership, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong background in object oriented designing and architecting automation solutions
• Solid understanding of performance engineering concepts and tools; influence architecture and design decisions
• Strong experience on cloud computing, development of test platform as a service.
• Experience building analytics/reporting platform, generic tools/plugin/utility development for component white-box testing
• Ability to communicate within the team and cross-functionally
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to act as a technical leader to increase production uptime through process and automation, increase test coverage through automation, reduce customer-impacting defects, identify high risk/reward opportunities and make informed risk-based decisions improving chances of success and promote software testing standards and mentor engineers in the team
• Good understanding on continuous deployment systems ind; define branching, tagging, and code merging strategies
• Familiarity with Automation frameworks such as Selenium and job runner/dashboards such as Jenkins preferred
