Software Development Engineer II at Expedia Group
We are looking for hardworking software engineers wanting to get involved in delivering an outstanding experience to our Partners for setting and maintaining their property pricing and availability. Allowing our Partners to maintain their settings in a quick and detailed manner ensures more bookings, fewer cancellations and more revenue for their business.
Ours is a full-stack team, developing and maintaining large distributed systems globally at scale. You will be at the forefront of our business strategy, building the experience that supports our initiatives and continues to improve the day-today Partner interactions with our applications.
Our engineers exhibit more than just outstanding technical prowess. They possess uncanny product intuition, the ability to communicate effectively, and they strive to be supportive and empathetic to everyone.

Some of our ongoing initiatives in the coming year include:
- Consolidating two existing applications that surface availability and pricing configuration into a unified new experience
- Building features in response to COVID-19 to help improve both traveler and partner booking experiences
Who you are:
- You have 1-3+ years of back-end or full-stack software development experience and have experience with production applications in cloud systems like GCP or AWS.
- You are used to delivering customer-facing software to hundreds of thousands or millions of users
- You have strong computer science fundamentals including design patterns and algorithm complexity analysis
- You love working in a team and for the benefit and improvement of the team
