Dealerware has an immediate, full-time opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer II to help us transform the way car dealers and manufacturers think about products and profits. We’re looking for someone that has professional experience with web programming, comfortable working with cloud platforms, knows the ins and outs of the frameworks and libraries they currently use and wants to master new frameworks.
As a Software Engineer II, you will:
● Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team to iterate and deliver on new product increments
● Assist in our transformation from monolithic back-end to a service oriented architecture
● Build amazing UX client-side apps with React and reusable APIs in Ruby on Rails or Go
● Receive coaching and mentoring from team members on engineering activities and best practices
● Practice T shaped skills by jumping into other areas of the technology stack at Dealerware

● Have intermediate knowledge of service-oriented architectures, domain-driven design, test-driven development, S.O.L.I.D. principles, networking, and security
● You are able to scope and implement project-level solutions with minimal guidance
● You consistently follow best practices and are able to discuss technical decisions in code review feedback
● Enjoy working in a collaborative environment, are humble and have an aptitude for learning and sharing knowledge
Required qualifications:
● 3+ years of professional work experience using Ruby on Rails, Go, Python or Java (at least a year of Ruby on Rails experience required)
● 1+ years of professional work experience with JS, Angular, React or similar framework
● Experience in a professional environment with other programming languages and tools (i.e.Python, Java, Kubernetes, etc.)
● Intermediate understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
● Adept with full-stack development and context switching
