Overview
We're looking to add an experienced Software Engineer II to an already awesome engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and deliver value to our customers through regularly shipping code.

This role is fully remote. Individuals can live in any US state.
Responsibilities
Some Responsibilities Include:

• Working with a sharp engineering team on impactful projects in our Digital Contact Centers.
• Building Saas-based applications with JVM-based technologies like Java and/or Scala
• Advocating for good engineering practices within and outside of your team
• Participating in code reviews with teammates
• Participating in an on-call rotation for escalations

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience and 1+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience building SaaS-based applications preferred. Java or ReactJS is highly preferred.
• Skilled in collaborating with other engineers through git and pull requests.
• Ability to perform code reviews and improve code quality by applying solid design principles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, using Jira, and scrum teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• • Experience with open source technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL
  • Experience working with AWS technologies
  • Experience with Javascript (ES6), HTML, React

This role is budgeted in the $85k base salary range with a 10% annual bonus. Salary and bonus will ultimately be based on a candidate's experience and external market factors.
