Ideal Candidate
The Integrations Software Engineer role is based in our Austin, TX office, reports to the CTO, and works alongside the data science team led by Dean Abbott, the #1 most influential data scientist in the world. You will be responsible for working with our Product, Data Science, and Client Success teams on designing and implementing new features and functionality for our platform, including integrations between the SmarterHQ platform and APIs for email service platforms, Google, Facebook and other endpoints used by our clients.
You are talented, passionate, motivated and ready to expand your skill set and responsibilities with a rapidly growing big data and predictive analytics company. You enjoy working with a great team and collaborating to drive effective solutions to complex problems. You also take ownership of your deliverables ensuring quality and timely delivery. Job Requirements
- 1-3+ years of back end software development
- Experience with .NET, C# and JavaScript
- Experience with REST API style (HTTP, JSON, URL, etc.)
- Experience in agile methodologies and a startup mentality
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to articulate clearly
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team, flexible, resourceful and creative
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from accredited university or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- SaaS company experience, working on commercially available products
- Working knowledge of microservice and distributed system architectures
- Experience with databases, such as SQL Server, and MySQL, and Redshift.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3
- Experience with React/AngularJS 1.4+
- Experience working with data scientists and dedicated DevOps teams
