Job Description Summary

The Software Engineer on the CCC Payments team will be responsible for designing and developing new application software and support. He or she will analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications as well as oversee the documentation of all development activity. The right candidate will assist with tracking performance metrics and integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities.

Job Duties

• Researches technical solutions to business problems
• Collaborates with the broader Agile team on a day-to-day basis
• Development, testing, and documentation of software
• Keen interest in learning and adopting new technologies and software languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• 2+ years' experience developing Java applications.
• Experience with Java 8 or above, and REST web services
• Hands-on Experience working in cloud ecosystem like AWS or Azure.
• Good understanding of microservices based software design & best practices
• Familiarity in using any one of the Git based source repositories like Bitbucket or Github.

Preferred Qualification

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience in Payment Processing would be a plus
