    The Opportunity

    Adobe's Magento Commerce team is looking for a new Quality Engineer to join our security team. As a team dedicated to improving security for our merchants, we are looking for an experienced QE with a dedication to quality, an eye for detail and an ability to delegate. Our team touches every corner of the Magento codebase, and we need a capable professional like you to keep our quality high.

     

    What you'll do

    • Create automated and manual test plans for newly developed security features

    • Analyze the impact of far-reaching vulnerability fixes

    • Lead, educate, delegate and monitor testing and quality work for all of your teammates

    • Help create company-wide quality practices that will limit introduced vulnerabilities

     

    What you need to succeed

    • 5+ years quality engineering experience

    • CS degree or equivalent experience

    • Automated test development experience with one of the following languages: PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java

    • Object-oriented development experience preferred

    • Highly skilled in writing unit, integration, API and UI automated tests

    • Experience as a user of CI systems; Jenkins preferred

    • Experience crafting test plans

    • Ability to lead and delegate quality activities among your teammates

    • Understanding of web applications and how the internet works

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Experience reporting status to multiple stakeholders

    Bonus Points:

    • Experience as a web dev

    • Web security knowledge

    • Leadership experience

    • E-comm experience

    • Magento experience - ideally Magento Certified Developer

    • Experience with Secure Coding best practices
