The Platform team's mission is to deliver and support software and services that underpins many other engineering teams at the company. You will have opportunity to work with many internal stakeholders (several Engineering & Product Management teams, DevOps, Quality, and others), and effectively collaborating with all of them to deliver services like rich search capabilities, BI reporting capabilities, global authentication, authorization and API routing, among others.
About the Role
We are looking for a well-rounded backend software engineer who is passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for all of our SaaS products.
As part of this team, you will have the chance to:

  • Work with cutting edge technologies and be part of the SaaS journey for SailPoint
  • Think creatively about ways to continuously improve how to develop and enhance products, features, and apps
  • Work as part of a passionate, high performing team and receive thoughtful critique, direct coaching and opportunities to have a large impact on the entire engineering organization.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with Java and desire to additionally work with Golang
  • Great communication skills and collaborative demeanor
  • BS in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment


Preferred

  • Experience with Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, AWS
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery
  • Experience working on ElasticSearch, Kafka and Snowflake
