Software Engineer in Test (Remote)
The Role:
The Software Engineer in Test will join our core development team as we create the next generation of AlertMedia products and services. This role is critical to our success and includes developing, implementing, and documenting all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, test automation, defect tracking and reporting, and release management. You will be a thought leader amongst the QA team, mentoring and sharing best practices and feedback.
Who you are:
You are someone who is passionate about ensuring quality within a software organization. You enjoy dissecting applications to understand how they were designed and the benefits they provide to the end user. You are someone with an eye for detail and a focus on the aspects of the product which are most important to the customer. You enjoy using scripting and automation to create efficient testing processes. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment working cross-functionally with other Engineers and Product Managers. You know that you can't test quality into a product after it’s built; quality must be built in from the beginning. Above all, you get great satisfaction from working together with a team to have a direct impact on our customers' success.
