Job Duties

Software Engineers for Austin, TX location. Design and develop software applications and related mobile applications using experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Analyze, test and assist with integration of new software applications and documentation of software development activities. Assist with tracking performance metrics. Collaborate with product stakeholders to identify functional and non-functional requirements. Resolve production defects and issues. Technical Environment: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Java, JSON, Git, REST/SOAP/HTTP web services, Maven, UNIX/Linux, JUnit, Cucumber, elastic platforms, automation tooling, DBs (NoSQL, relational, graph, object stores, in-memory KV stores/caches), Apache, Docker, Kubernetes, Dropwizard, Prometheus, ELK, JMX, Consul, Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Zookeeper, Kafka, Kube, Pods, Vault, Topology, bitbucket, Kibana, Redis Cluster, Consul, Deploying Topologys/APIs on Dev/QA Env, AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift), MySQL; microservices architectures, streaming data processing.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field or Information Systems or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or with software development required. Required Skills: software development experience with full SDLC, Agile, Java, JSON, Git, REST/SOAP/HTTP web services, Maven, UNIX/Linux, JUnit, building elastic platforms, automation tooling, DBs, Docker, Kubernetes, Dropwizard, ELK, JMX, Consul, Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Zookeeper, Kafka, Kube, Kibana, Redis Cluster, Deploying Topologys/API's,  AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift), streaming data processing.
