The Role:
Overhaul is looking for a bright, creative mind to join our team and be a part of shaping the future of end-to-end supply chain visibility software and services. As a Solutions Architect you will be accountable for the technical outcomes of our strategic partnerships. This includes data design guidance, technical implementation guidance, product subject matter expertise, and advanced use-case solutions. We are looking for a Solutions Architect with strong enterprise software expertise to join our growing, global architecture team. You will work closely with individuals from Technology, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end success of technical, enterprise projects with our strategic customers, gathering requirements, designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders. Develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders. May have routine contact with senior-most external and internal stakeholders, where refined communication skills are paramount.
- Strategize with account executives; provide technical support for sales opportunities and customer success team.
- Capable of understanding and communicating highly technical concepts related to cloud infrastructure, IT, and enterprise resource planning systems to lay- and technical-audiences.
- Act as subject matter expert for Overhaul and partners in pursuit of enterprise sales opportunities.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for driving multiple customer opportunities and projects in parallel.
- Partner with sales team to articulate the overall Overhaul value proposition, vision and strategy to prospective customers.
- Works as a trusted advisor, partnering with the customer on technical strategy and requirements and collaborating with all internal stakeholders to execute through an excellent customer experience.
About you:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Project Manager, or similar technical role; 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with a startup.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or related technical degree preferred).
- Experience with highly technical, enterprise software projects.
- Worked with development and/or operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership, both written and orally.
- High attention to detail and extremely organized
- Must have experience with B2B, Enterprise SAAS products.
- High level of comfort with ambiguity; ability to structure unstructured problems and resolve quickly. Create project structure without explicit direction.
- Must have professionally written code sometime in the past.
- Can read and understand code in a variety of languages: Python, C/C++, C#/.NET, SQL, Javascript, etc.
- Understands and has used the basics of cloud computing: storage, compute, databases, networking, security, etc
- Has familiarity with APIs: REST, GraphQL, SOAP, EDI
- Strong technical understanding, capability and willingness to learn and develop skills on a daily basis.
- Experience creating and delivering effective technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Results oriented, resourceful problem-solver, with high levels of initiative, comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, high growth technical environment.
