Affinipay is seeking a multifaceted Solutions Architect to support the Partners and the Partner Sales Organization across all product lines. The Solutions Architect serves as a liaison in the sales process when technical expertise or services are involved. The Partner Solutions Architect (SA) reports directly to the Director of Partner Success with primary responsibility for assisting with both signing and supporting strategic partners and growing processing volume through partners.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with existing and potential partners to assess and understand technical needs and requirements.
- Possess a strong understanding of how API’s work, and the ability to build integrations using standard API’s
- Consults with existing and potential partners to encourage all to build and maintain the most robust integration possible and incorporate new Affinipay features and functionality as quickly as possible after availability.
- Crafts or assists with the creation of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to partners.
- Guides and supports partner sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
- Ensures that partner needs are met, which may include product modifications.
- Proposes improved materials or products to partners and explains benefits of changes.
- Provides support to partners and resolves problems with existing integrations.
- Advocates for partners with the product and engineering teams
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of related product or sales experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record to explain technical products to non-technical audiences, explain technology and business tradeoffs to help arrive at the best solution.
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to partner needs and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, knowledge of payment processing technology, data security (PCI), API design and standard methodologies, and a solid understanding of integration design.
- Professional technology experience including customer needs assessment, and territory growth preferred.
